Original Musical Theatre

I have composed and orchestrated four original musicals since 2016, including the 123rd and 124th annual Varsity Show. The Varsity Show is Columbia University’s oldest performing arts tradition, with alumni including Rodgers and Hart, Jeanine Tesori, and Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey.

A secular, holiday-themed musical comedy, performed in Columbia University’s Roone Arledge Auditorium.

Election season! Chelsea Shaw is confident that nothing could possibly prevent her from taking a seat on CCSC. But when a shocking loss to the legacy-crazed William Schermerhorn VIII (Yes, Schermerhorn like the building) catches her off guard, she starts to wonder what her time at Columbia was even worth.

An annual full-length original musical, satirizing life at Columbia University.

On this project I was composer/orchestrator, lyricist, and music director.

With graduation looming, Columbia College senior Liv has one huge regret: that she didn't attend Barnard. Her best friend, Zoe, president of SGA, entertains Liv's dream of being a "Barnard bear," but no matter how many Midnight Breakfasts she attended, no matter how few people listen to her WBAR show, she never felt she truly belonged.
